Finding the right people to help
My Brain Nutrition Journey
George Hinton
(Brain Nutrition Revolution Founder)
My own personal journey with mental health nutrition started when after a lifetime of no mental health issues I developed paranoid schizophrenia in my 30s.
I was desperate to heal and my journey introduced to me brain nutrition and I got lucky in my research realising that when I improved my diet in certain ways my mental health improved.
This started a deep dive for me which has lasted the last 2 or 3 years with me shutting myself off from life and concentrating on trying to heal my condition as much as I could
I read all of the books, joined all the facebook groups, watched all the you tube videos on the both the science and the theory of the subject currently about which 3 years or so ago was hardly discussed.
I have really watched the subject grow as I have been studying it and it still continues to now and is a fairly young emerging accepted science in nutrition with much more still to be researched.
I don’t claim to know it all about nutrition in general and theres lots I don’t know but I have concentrated on learning just the basics of mental nutrition and how to eat well for the brain for performance and to avoid illness and avoiding elderly cognitive decline and I now feel there is a lack of knowledge on the basics and that is what the brain nutrition plan concentrates on and 4 key areas that have been shown to help the most people.
I have also discovered that my brain works far better when on this diet which is all about eating for the mind and I am more creative with lots more ideas
It have started to realize that not many people know how to eat for the brain specifically and that the very basics were being ignored to an extreme level by the vast majority of people and most of the population getting sick and also walking round in a brain fog and a fraction of their full potential due to poor diet.
As well as improving brain health and performance the 4 boxes we recommend to tick are things that promote overall improved health physically as many of the issues that affect the brain also affect the body in other areas such as inflammation and gut health
I genuinely believe in this information and know 100% that many people will benefit from the things that are proposed in this brain nutrition-specific plan from people with mental health issues having improved conditions to people improving cognitive function and performance while avoiding future cognitive decline issues
I don't pretend to know everything about nutrition but I have learned a lot on my mission to heal and I stick to the none controversial basics that have helped me and continue to be a big part of how I eat and live
I am trying to make a career for myself and also help others by sharing information of the things that have helped me and encouraging others to try them.
